# Forms and Knowledge

Find source-backed Forms and Knowledge Brain reviews in the Research and knowledge workspace area.

**Research & knowledge** groups source-backed Forms, Research Studies, and Knowledge. These objects have different jobs: Forms collect validated structured answers; Research Studies sequence participant work; Knowledge Brain helps reviewers inspect linked source and generated knowledge.

## Forms

Find Forms in the workspace collection and open overview, preview, submissions, or settings. Form definitions are authored in their source: Markdown/MDX embeds, standalone Form Contract files, static HTML bindings, GitHub-backed files, or Draft Review content. The workspace manages discovered sources and results but is not the primary contract editor.

Review mode can inspect required questions without filling them. Final submission still requires server validation. Fill permission and result-list permission are separate. Dedicated response links are explicit records with their own audience and revocation controls. See [collect and use Form responses](/docs/workflows/collect-form-responses).

## Knowledge Brain

Open a Brain-aware repository review to navigate sources, wiki pages, outputs, and control files together. Follow provenance, backlinks, and findings, but treat automated health analysis as an aid rather than proof. Public readers are read-only and do not show private comments.

See [review a knowledge-base update](/docs/workflows/review-a-knowledge-update) and [rendered content](/docs/use/rendered-content).
