Make decisions where you review the work.
Polls and Consensus are optional features of a review. Keep the same document, comments, history, and source while choosing how participants collaborate.
New reviews start with both features off. Open Review settings to enable Polls, Consensus, or both. Settings belong to that review and persist across files and revisions.
Polls
Collect non-binding input with single- or multi-select questions. With Consensus enabled, decision polls can evaluate explicitly mapped outcomes. An active blocker always remains part of readiness.
Consensus
Request a decision on a thread. Participants can agree, object, ask for clarification, or raise a blocker. Managers can accept, reject, or mark a proposal out of scope. Agent input is advisory unless a manager enables counting it.
Proposal decisions, recorded application, conversation resolution, and human approval are separate. Consensus never automatically edits content, commits changes, merges a pull request, or completes a Project.
Your review, your settings
Drafts, pull requests, branches, live previews, published packages, source snapshots, and Review Guides use the same controls. Guides keep their own discussions and do not change the settings of linked reviews.
Turning a feature off freezes its activity and retains readable history. Turning Consensus off removes its gate. Only a human manager can remove configured human sign-off requirements.
Provider synchronization
Comments and poll summaries sync to your provider. Voting, decisions, and review requirements are managed in Commentary.
Polls are Free. Consensus is available in Pro preview.
